Independent Review Committee

Titan Funds Incorporated has appointed the members of the Independent Review Committee (IRC), all of whom are independent from Titan Funds Incorporated and its affiliates, for a three-year term.

The members of the IRC are:

  • Serge Cecchetto, former Chief Compliance Officer of Aegon Canada Inc. (Toronto);
  • Don Thurston, Principal of Selkirk Portfolio Management Inc. (Calgary);
  • Don Ferris, former President and Chief Executive Officer of Mawer Investment Management (Calgary);
  • Gerald Romanzin, former Acting President of the TSX Venture Exchange and Executive Vice President of the TSX Venture Exchange and CDNX (Calgary).

The IRC is a fully independent body whose role is to oversee all decisions involving actual or perceived conflicts of interest faced by the manager in the operation of the fund.

An IRC is required pursuant to National Instrument 81-107 Independent Review Committee for Investment Funds, an initiative of the Canadian Securities Administrators which came into effect on May 1, 2007.
